My name is James, perhaps better known as Shellshocked – I am a British expat living and working in France, a short train ride from Paris.
A lifelong Star Wars fan, I assembled a Stormtrooper costume kit for a Christmas Party back in 2011, and my fate was sealed.
Over time making the costumes became more exciting to me than wearing them though, and I changed my focus to props around 2016, which was also when I bought my first 3D Printer.
I’m a huge fan of Maker Culture and I love it when my 3D modelling and printing knowledge helps others succeed with their own projects. Owning a replica of a prop from your favourite game/tv show/movie is awesome, but owning a copy that you built and painted yourself? That’s even better.
This can however take some trial and error to achieve, which is where I come in. I have a workshop dedicated to building and testing my models and kits before sending them out.
I also create an in-depth 3D Printing and Assembly guide for each model, which will guide even the most inexperienced user through every step of the build process.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send me a message, I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
