Created for Martian Agency to be displayed at the exhibition “Te Aho Tapu Hou : The Sacred Thread” at the Waikato Museum, in Hamilton, New-Zealand.
The shapes were sculpted by hand with a thermoplastic by the agencys founder, Marine Arnoul. This was then scanned by Victor Arnoul with the “Space Slider” Scanner by Artec 3D.I took this scan, and then mirrored and cleaned it up in Zbrush. It was then printed in resin, assembled, and then painted. I glued magnets to both the visor and a 3d printed bust so it could be displayed without any visible attachments.
The 3d model was turned into an instagram filter by by Charlie Delahousse, you can find this here.
